The Affinities Program

The award-winning Affinities Program grows out of a belief that building on students’ strengths is the best way to help them grow into the people they were meant to become. The program provides specific and engaging exercises and activities to help young people discover their strengths and use them to carve out a path toward a meaningful future.

The Affinities Program is really about self-discovery. Self-discovery is the key to helping our students find and create meaning in their lives. All schools should seek to consciously engage students in a process of self- discovery that will be meaningful in tomorrow’s world and relevant for today’s young people. The Affinities Program provides schools the tools to do just that.

The Affinities Curriculum has multiple components: A K-8 program, a 9-12 program, an after-school program and a whole organizational component.

The 9-12 Affinities Program will be available in April, 2008.
A K-8 curriculum, StrengthsNOW!, will be available in May, 2008.
